Samsung Display has introduced a new "QuantumBlack" coating for QD-OLED monitors to address issues with rising black levels and glare. This coating enhances ambient black levels and reduces reflections by 20%, improving contrast and black depth under ambient light. The QuantumBlack film is applied at the factory for all QD-OLED panels, including those from other vendors like Asus, AOC, MSI, and Gigabyte.
