Keychron introduced the Q16 HE 8K, a 65-percent wired magnetic keyboard with a ceramic case and keycaps, designed with gamers in mind. Priced at $229.99, it features RGB backlighting, a hot-swappable PCB, and up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate. The glossy ceramic keycaps attract fingerprints easily, and the typing experience may not meet expectations due to the heavy and slippery feel. While the keyboard offers gaming features like Rapid Trigger and adjustable actuation, the ceramic keycaps may not be ideal for fast-paced gaming. The Keychron Launcher software allows customization of key mapping and lighting effects.
