Enthusiast creates Peltier thermoelectric cooler from scratch — impressive rig uses two 360mm AIOs, homemade DC controllers, and a custom loop

TrashBench on YouTube tested a homemade Peltier liquid cooling system on an RTX 4060 and RTX 3070 GPU, using AIOs, custom loop, and homemade DC controllers. Despite achieving sub-ambient temperatures, the results were underwhelming due to extreme power inefficiency. The setup included two 360mm AIOs cooling the Peltier units, homemade DC controllers, and waterblocks to cool the liquid. While the GPUs did achieve lower temperatures, the power consumption of the cooling system was almost as high as the chips it was cooling, highlighting the challenges of Peltier cooling solutions.
