A collaboration between U.S. defense industry leaders has resulted in the creation of the Leonidas Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV), a high-power microwave platform designed to counter drone swarms. The AGV combines the Epirus Leonidas high-power microwave platform, the Kodiak Driver autonomous system, and General Dynamics Land Systems’ integration expertise. This autonomous mobile unit can be teleoperated to enhance drone defense capabilities without human intervention and is effective against various types of drone attacks. The AGV prototype will be showcased at the AUSA Global Force Symposium & Exhibition in Huntsville, Alabama.
