Windows 11 KB5074105 update requires admin permission to access Storage settings intentionally, affecting Temporary files cleanup by not detecting certain folders. The update addresses the black-screen bug on Nvidia GPUs and fixes Start menu issues. Windows now prompts for User Account Control when opening Storage settings to protect system files. However, the Temporary files cleanup feature is broken for some users, missing options like Windows Update files. Users can still clean Windows Update files using Disk Cleanup.
