You're about to see even fewer BSODs in public with Windows 11's new 'Digital Signage Mode' — every public blue screen will wither away within 15 seconds of the crash

Microsoft has introduced a new "Digital Signage Mode" in Windows 11 to automatically remove blue screens of death (BSOD) within 15 seconds of a crash in public settings. This feature, part of the OS recovery settings, aims to prevent prolonged BSOD displays on public screens. Digital Signage Mode is distinct from Kiosk mode and is designed for non-interactive displays like billboards. Additionally, Microsoft announced other stability improvements in Windows 11, including a more robust restore point system and enhanced remote PC servicing capabilities through the Intune portal.
