Arctic launches its best thermal paste yet for chips of all types — claims new MX-7 formulation runs 3% cooler than its predecessor

Arctic has released its latest thermal paste, the MX-7, claiming it runs 3% cooler than its predecessor, the MX-6. Priced between $6-10, the MX-7 features a new formula with improved characteristics like low adhesion, high viscosity, and high cohesion. Despite being less viscous than the MX-6, the MX-7 offers good consistency and can be easily applied in a cross pattern. Arctic emphasizes safety, as the paste is non-conductive and non-capacitive, making it easy to clean and use with direct-die cooling solutions. The MX-7 is available on Amazon and comes with an improved authenticity check system for peace of mind.
