A New Kind of Geosynchronous Orbit

A new kind of geosynchronous orbit called OEO promises low latency and reduced costs using readily available technology. OEO satellites guarantee geosynchronous orbit around the equator, eliminating latency issues and drastically cutting deployment costs compared to GEO, MEO, and LEO satellites. OEO's proximity to users reduces latency, and its low-altitude orbit eliminates the need for complex handoff systems. By operating within Earth's ecosystem, OEO satellites leverage local power sources and avoid the weight and energy challenges of higher-orbit satellites. Other countries are exploring alternative orbital plans like REO and Middle-Earth Orbits.
