Intel's next-gen Nova Lake-HX laptop CPUs reportedly feature up to 28 cores

Intel's upcoming Nova Lake-HX laptop CPUs are rumored to feature up to 28 cores, replacing the Arrow Lake HX series by late 2026 or early 2027. The processors will combine "Coyote Cove" P-cores with "Darkmont" E-cores, aiming to enhance performance. The flagship desktop Nova Lake configuration may have up to 52 cores in a 3D package design. Intel is also working on a scaled-down version with 16 hybrid cores. The new CPUs are expected to offer improved power efficiency compared to the current Arrow Lake-HX lineup.
