Looking Glass has unveiled its new Hololuminescent Display (HLD) monitors, ranging from 16 to 85 inches in size and starting at $1,500. These monitors, just 1-inch thick, offer up to 4K resolution and promise to deliver immersive holograms without the need for special glasses or eye tracking technology. HLDs are designed for various applications, including digital signage, retail, and experiential displays, and are compatible with standard 2D video workflows. The monitors will be available starting in Q4, with an FHD 16-inch display priced at $1,500 and larger 4K displays to follow.
