Two new Rowhammer attacks, "GDDRHammer" and "GeForge," exploit Nvidia GPUs' memory to gain root access to the CPU, potentially compromising the entire system. These attacks force bit flips in GPU memory, allowing unauthorized read/write access. GDDRHammer and GeForge target GDDR6 memory, inducing controlled bit flips to compromise VRAM. Enabling ECC or IOMMU in the BIOS can mitigate these attacks, but each has drawbacks. While Rowhammer attacks require initial system access, vigilance is crucial, especially in shared computing environments.
