EPICS in IEEE Funds Record-Breaking Number of Student Projects
EPICS in IEEE has funded a record number of student projects, including a smart braille system and an air-quality tracker. The EPICS in IEEE team from Pakistan's Mehran University of Engineering and Technology showcased their generative AI-powered voice interactive braille learning platform at the Ida Rieu School for the blind and deaf. The program manager, Ashley Moran, highlighted the impact of these projects in advancing humanitarian efforts and STEM education.
