Boston’s Rare and Remarkable Auctions is hosting an auction featuring historic Apple Computer artifacts, including an Apple-1 ‘Prototype Board #0’ system, Apple’s first check, and more. The Prototype Board #0 is a validation prototype used by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak before commercial production, with unique features like Robinson-Nugent sockets. The estimated $500,000+ price includes the system PCB, a vintage keyboard, power supply, TV, and signed replicas of manuals by Steve Wozniak. Additionally, Apple’s first check, valued at over $500,000, signed by Jobs and Wozniak, is also up for auction. The auction ends on January 30.
