New ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5080 EVO edition GPUs drop the vapor chamber cooling
ASUS has released new GeForce RTX 5080 EVO GPUs that are more affordable compared to previous models. The new EVO editions have shifted from vapor-chamber cooling to a traditional cooling approach but maintain the same specs and design. Despite the change, the EVO OC Edition still offers a slight boost in clock speed. These GPUs feature a 2.5 slot design with three axial-tech fans and a vented backplate for improved airflow. The thermal performance is expected to be solid due to the phase-change GPU thermal pad design and Dual BIOS modes.
