AMD reveals $899 price tag for Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 — first dual-cache X3D CPU is $200 more expensive than the Ryzen 9 9950X3D

AMD has confirmed the price of its upcoming Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 CPU at $899, $200 more than the previous model. The new chip features dual-cache X3D technology and is aimed at workstation-level tasks for developers and content creators. While gaming benchmarks are not yet available, AMD claims improvements in data science workloads and other applications. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is set to be released on April 22 and is compatible with existing AM5 socket motherboards.
