This Month in Ladybird – October 2025

Ladybird's October 2025 update includes welcoming new sponsors, progress on Web Platform Tests with a significant increase in passing subtests, the introduction of a persistent disk cache for faster website visits, and various performance optimizations. Trusted Types support was added to several DOM APIs, initial support for XPath evaluations was implemented, and media playback now ensures audio and video synchronization. Ladybird also now supports pinch-to-zoom on macOS, improved accessibility DevTools, and advancements in CSS Typed OM, sibling-count(), and sibling-index(). Additionally, there were enhancements in CSS and SVG gradients, CanvasPattern rendering, WebGL2 buffer support, and offscreen WebGL framebuffer support. Windows support progress was noted, with Ladybird running on Windows for the first time.
