SK hynix unveils AI NAND strategy, including gargantuan petabyte-class QLC SSDs — ultra-fast HBF and 100M IOPS SSDs also in the pipeline

SK hynix revealed its AI NAND strategy at the 2025 Global Summit, introducing AIN storage products tailored for artificial intelligence applications. The company will offer three product lineups: AIN D for high-density storage, AIN P for high-performance storage, and AIN B utilizing High Bandwidth Flash (HBF) technology for ultra-high-performance storage. AIN D will use 3D QLC NAND to achieve petabyte-level density, while AIN P will focus on maximizing input-output operations for AI inference applications. AIN B, based on HBF technology, aims to combine HBM-like bandwidth with NAND density for advanced AI systems. SK hynix also plans to collaborate with partners to drive NAND innovation in the AI market.
