Prusa launches two new 3D printers, open source filament tags, and printable silicone at private event

Josef Prusa unveiled the new CORE One L 3D printer at a private event in Prague, featuring a larger build volume and innovative design elements. The printer emphasizes security by not requiring internet connectivity and using in-house electronics production. The CORE One L includes unique features like an AC-powered heated bed and automatic vent control, priced at $1799 USD. Prusa also introduced the Prusa XL with a new tool head system for printing silicone and other soft materials, along with an open-source filament tagging system called OpenPrintTag. The company aims to collaborate with other filament manufacturers to create a universal tagging system for 3D printers.
