The group has filed a petition with the US Patent and Trademark Office to cancel X Corporation's trademarks. Operation Bluebird has created a working prototype and is inviting users to reserve handles for the potential new platform. The startup believes that existing Twitter-like social media networks lack the scale and brand recognition that Twitter had before Musk's ownership and sees an opportunity to recreate the magic of the platform. Musk and X Corporation have not yet responded to requests for comment on the matter.
