Musk confirms Tesla AI5 and AI6 will be made at both Samsung and TSMC, reinforcing dual-foundry strategy

Elon Musk has confirmed that Tesla's AI5 and AI6 chips will be produced at both Samsung and TSMC, deviating from earlier suggestions of a one-fab strategy. Each foundry will create slightly different physical versions of the same design, with the goal of ensuring identical software functionality across both chips.
