MSI's fifth-generation QD-OLED gaming monitor embraces RGB stripe subpixels — 34-inch display boasts enhanced text clarity, boosted brightness, and improved black levels

MSI has unveiled the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 gaming monitor at CES, featuring a 5th-generation QD-OLED panel with RGB stripe sub-pixels for enhanced text clarity. The monitor offers improved brightness at 300 nits (1,300 nits peak) and deeper blacks with a 40% boost using DarkArmor Film. It boasts a 34-inch display with a 1800R curve, 3440 x 1440 resolution, 360 Hz refresh rate, and 0.03 ms response time. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1a, USB Type-C with Power Delivery, USB-A hub, and a headphone jack. MSI has also introduced the MSI OLED Care 3.0 AI Care Sensor for display panel protection. Pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
