Microsoft makes Full Screen Experience available to all Windows 11 gaming handhelds — highly requested feature no longer exclusive to the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X

Microsoft is expanding its Full Screen Experience (FSE) feature beyond the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X to all Windows 11 gaming handhelds. This feature streamlines the gaming experience by consolidating games from various online storefronts into one place. Users can now enroll in the Xbox/Windows Insider program to test FSE on their Windows computers. FSE is seen as a performance boost compared to simply activating Game Mode in Windows, as it skips certain resource-heavy components. Additionally, proficient users could previously enable FSE through registry hacks, but now it will be officially available for all compatible devices.
