Bambu Lab's MakerWorld has launched a Creator Copyright Protection Program to assist 3D designers in combating stolen files being resold online. The program aims to tackle the issue of knockoffs, especially as 3D printing gains popularity. Designers often struggle to defend their intellectual property due to a lack of formal copyright registrations or documentation. The program, now in beta testing, is available to MakerWorld Global designers with over 300 followers and MakerWorld China designers with over 100 followers. MakerWorld monitors its platform for copyright infringement and takes action against violators, aiming to alleviate the burden on designers in protecting their creations.
