Intel announces Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs, claims 15% higher gaming performance and multi-threaded boost — Core Ultra 7 270K and Core Ultra 5 250K come with more cores, faster memory, and a price cut

Intel has unveiled its Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs, including the Core Ultra 7 270K and Core Ultra 5 250K, boasting a 15% increase in gaming performance compared to stock Arrow Lake chips. These new chips offer more cores, faster memory, and come at a reduced price. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus features 24 cores, while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus has 18 cores. Intel has enhanced the memory controller speed by up to 900MHz to improve system latency and gaming performance. Additionally, Intel introduces the Intel Binary Optimization Tool (iBOT) to enhance gaming performance further. The Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs are set to be available starting March 26.
