IDEmacs: A Visual Studio Code clone for Emacs

IDEmacs is a project aiming to create Emacs configurations that mimic popular IDEs, making Emacs more beginner-friendly for programmers transitioning from other IDEs or new to programming. It provides GUI and mouse support, follows popular GUI and IDE keybinding conventions, and offers a fast, configuration-free Emacs experience. The project includes a VSCode configuration with themes, tab bars, version control tools, completion packages, and Lisp editing tools. IDEmacs seeks user feedback and contributions to improve the experience for both programmers and non-programmers using Emacs.
