I tested Windows 11 March 2026 Updates: Everything new, improved, and fixed

The March 2026 Patch Tuesday update for Windows 11 introduces new features like Emoji 16.0 support, built-in Sysmon for security monitoring, and a network speed test on the taskbar. Quick Machine Recovery is expanded to more hardware, and a Bing-powered Internet speed test tool is added to the taskbar. Additionally, Windows Backup restore is enhanced for organizations, WebP images can now be used as desktop backgrounds, and RSAT is now supported on Windows 11 Arm64 devices. The update also includes reliability and stability improvements across Windows 11, as well as preparations for upcoming Secure Boot certificate updates.
