High-Power Current Probe Captures Up to 1,000 A with 1.5 MHz of Bandwidth

Teledyne LeCroy has launched a high-power current probe, the CP1000, capable of measuring up to 1,000 A RMS with a bandwidth of 1.5 MHz. This probe is designed for applications like motor drives and traction inverters in electric vehicles. It features a split-core aperture for contactless measurements, integrates with oscilloscopes via the ProBus interface, and offers a range of capabilities for accurate current measurement. Other companies like Tektronix also unveiled current probes at APEC, showcasing advancements in power electronics testing equipment.
