First ARM-supported 3D driver for discrete gaming GPUs emerges from China — Lisuan 7G106 runs 3DMark on a Windows 11 ARM machine

Chinese GPU maker Lisuan has developed the first ARM-supported 3D driver for its Lisuan 7G106 graphics card, enabling 3D acceleration on an ARM-based Windows 11 system. The graphics card boasts performance similar to an RTX 4060, with 12GB of memory and support for PCIe 4.0 x16. This development marks the first instance of a dedicated GPU paired with an ARM chip running games, potentially paving the way for gaming on ARM devices with discrete GPUs.
