An enthusiast modified an RTX 2060 GPU cooler to run sub-zero water through its heatpipes, dropping temperatures to 13 degrees Celsius during gaming and unlocking higher boost clocks. By attaching silicone tubes to the cut heatpipe ends and circulating water through them, the GPU's temperature significantly decreased compared to stock settings. With the addition of an ice chiller and Vaseline protection from condensation, the GPU reached record-high clock speeds of 2025 MHz. Despite the complex modifications, the experiment proved successful in achieving extreme cooling results.
