Eaton and ChargePoint Launch Fast DC V2X Chargers and Power Infrastructure

Eaton and ChargePoint have collaborated to launch ChargePoint Express Grid, a fast-charging architecture with end-to-end power infrastructure for EVs, offering up to 600 kW to passenger EVs and megawatt charging for commercial applications. By integrating ChargePoint's Express chargers with Eaton's solutions, the system aims to scale charging for the increasing number of EVs efficiently. The "Everything as a Grid" approach synchronizes renewables, energy storage, and vehicle batteries to reduce fueling costs and balance the electric grid. The joint architecture can reduce CapEx by 30% and operational costs by 30%. ChargePoint Express solutions will be available in 2026.
