Kingston Datacenter SSD Business Manager Cameron Crandall predicts that NAND prices for RAM and SSD will continue to rise in 2026, with a 246% increase in NAND costs since 1Q25, 70% of which occurred in the last 60 days. Crandall advises consumers not to delay upgrading their systems as prices are expected to keep increasing. He mentions that the memory market is currently in an upswing, leading memory companies to hold back on expanding production. Despite Sapphire's forecast of DRAM prices stabilizing in the next six to eight months, Crandall believes the pricing cycle indicates ongoing increases.
