Dell updates Alienware gaming laptops with Intel’s Arrow Lake-HX Refresh CPUs — 16-inch models receive OLED display and GPU upgrades

Dell has updated its Alienware gaming laptops, including the 18 Area-51, 16 Area-51, and 16X Aurora models, with Intel's latest Arrow Lake-HX Refresh processors. The 16-inch models now feature premium anti-glare OLED displays, while the 16X Aurora specifically gets a GPU upgrade with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The Alienware 18 Area-51 offers powerful processing with options like the Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus, boasting up to 24 cores and 5.5 GHz boost speeds. These laptops support up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory and offer storage options up to 12TB. The Alienware 16 Area-51, a more compact option, also receives the same processor upgrades and features an OLED panel with improved visual quality and faster response times.
