Asus adds separate E-Core and P-Core power management to the Z2 Extreme-powered ROG Xbox Ally X — major Armory Crate SE update released for all of its gaming handhelds

Asus has introduced separate power management options for the E-Core and P-Core on the ROG Xbox Ally X, powered by the Z2 Extreme APU. This update allows users to adjust power draw settings for efficiency and performance cores individually. The Armoury Crate SE update also includes enhancements like integrating Radeon Chill into the FPS Limiter function and various bug fixes. Additionally, changes to the FPS Limiter preset, UI colors, Windows Power Mode options, and custom-mapped bindings for Xbox Fullscreen experience have been made. Other updates include improved power consumption, better haptics for impulse triggers, and enhanced Cloud Recovery across supported devices.
