Apple's Houston-built AI servers are now shipping, according to CEO Tim Cook — custom silicon to power Private Cloud Compute

Apple's CEO Tim Cook announced that the company's American-made advanced servers are now shipping from a new Houston facility to Apple's data centers. These servers will power Private Cloud Compute (PCC) and Apple Intelligence as part of Apple's $600 billion US investment commitment. The PCC system is designed to enhance AI capabilities while maintaining user privacy through a secure software stack that doesn't store or log user data.
