AMD touts Instinct MI430X, MI440X, and MI455X AI accelerators and Helios rack-scale AI architecture at CES — full MI400-series family fulfills a broad range of infrastructure and customer requirements

AMD unveiled its new Helios rack-scale AI solution and Instinct MI400-series GPUs for AI and HPC workloads at CES. The Helios system, powered by Zen 6 EPYC 'Venice' CPUs, features the MI455X accelerators with impressive performance metrics. The MI400X family will introduce compute chiplets on TSMC's N2 fabrication process and split across subsets of the CDNA 5 architecture. The MI430X, MI440X, and MI455X accelerators are designed for various precision workloads and will support Infinity Fabric alongside UALink for scale-up connectivity. AMD plans to offer the Helios platform with Ultra Ethernet for scale-out connectivity.
