AMD has revealed that the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 will be priced at $899, $200 more than its single-cache sibling, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This new flagship desktop CPU, launching on April 22, features dual-cache X3D technology with 208MB of cache and a 200W TDP. While not marketed as a gaming chip, the 9950X3D2 is aimed at developers and content creators for complex workloads. Official benchmarks focus on professional tasks, with gaming performance yet to be disclosed. The processor boasts 16 Zen 5 cores, 32 threads, up to 5.6 GHz boost, and support for DDR5 and PCIe 5.0.
