AMD has unveiled the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition, the first desktop CPU with 3D V-Cache across both CCDs, boasting a massive 208MB cache for a 5-10% performance increase over its predecessor. Set to launch on April 22, the CPU features 16 cores, 32 threads, a 5.6 GHz boost clock, and a 200W TDP, making it the most power-hungry consumer chip from AMD. The processor is compatible with the AM5 platform, supporting DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 5, and Precision Boost Overdrive 2.
