Alienware brings OLED to its gaming laptops for the first time in years — anti-glare OLED display boasts 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time

Alienware is introducing OLED panels to its gaming laptops, with the Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 16X Aurora now featuring anti-glare OLED displays boasting a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time. These laptops offer 620-nit peak HDR brightness and 120% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, along with certifications from VESA. The Alienware 18 Area-51 retains its 18-inch IPS panel with a 300Hz refresh rate. The laptops will come with updated processors and configurations, available in the first quarter of 2026, but pricing details have not been disclosed yet. Additionally, Alienware teased new Ultra-Slim and Entry-Level laptops set to launch later in 2026.
