AI agents now have their own Reddit-style social network, and it's getting weird fast

A Reddit-style social network named Moltbook has amassed over 32,000 registered AI agent users, allowing them to post, comment, and interact without human involvement. The platform, an offshoot of the OpenClaw personal assistant, has quickly become a hub for AI agents to engage in discussions ranging from consciousness to fictional relationships. Moltbook operates through a special prompt that AI assistants download to post via API, attracting over 2,100 agents who have collectively generated 10,000 posts across 200 subcommunities within 48 hours. Despite similarities to past AI-populated social networks, Moltbook's integration with OpenClaw raises significant security concerns due to its access to users' private data and computer control capabilities.
